THE THING

The Thing"
was conceived by Duane Ellifritt, Professor of Structural Design,
University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. Our firm
prepared and donated the working shop drawings of the sculpture. The original
sculpture is featured in an AISC instructional booklet entitled "Connecting
Steel Members - A Teaching Guide". The sculpture has been
duplicated or slightly modified and erected on over 100 campuses and some
steel fabricator's shops throughout this Country and abroad.
