Chiu & Associates, Inc. is looking for a structural engineer/draftsman for
its Valdosta, Georgia office. We are looking for creative leaders who are
ambitious and hard-working. The applicant must be willing to learn and
function in both engineering and management practices. No job should be
too big or too small. The applicant will work with other disciplines and
clients to develop a high quality product.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEER: Applicant must either have a P.E. or be within 6 months of obtaining it. Applicant should have proficient experience in CAD software. The engineer shall perform structural designs, calculations, and drafting on buildings and/or bridges using current building code or GDOT requirements. He/She will use a variety of programs, including RamSteel, WinStrudl, GDOT bridge programs, AutoCAD or Microstation, and MS Office programs.
Valdosta is a small, metropolitan city located in South Central Georgia
on the Georgia-Florida line. It is three hours drive from Atlanta and the
North Georgia Mountains, and three hours drive or less from Orlando Florida and
